Bendigo residents are looking for the council to be compassionate around homeless people and people living in caravans and tiny homes, after a retired couple with health issues who were living in their caravan on a friend’s property were subject of a complaint from a neighbour. This comes after a major park’s rules were changed to ban camping. Many vulnerable people in Bendigo have either nowhere to live or are choosing to live in campers for various reasons.
