Money Magazine has shone a light on both housing affordability (or lack thereof) and the difficulty of saving for a deposit to buy a home in their article – How to buy a house without a 20% deposit.
Only 29% of first home buyers can meet the 20% deposit mark, having dropped by 14% from the previous year.
One of the options that they propose to get around the deposit hurdle, is to consider buying a tiny home. They briefly discuss types of tiny homes, costs, what legal restrictions may apply and finance options.
